Hawks Honour Overage Players

On Friday, March 10th the Hawks recognized 4 veteran junior players prior to Game 1 of the 1st round of the Yeck Division playoffs.

Liam O’Shea came over from the North Middlesex Stars prior to this season. Liam is a solid two-way defenseman that has helped bolster the Hawks defense and helped has helped develop our young blueliners.

Cale Johnstone was another North Middlesex Star signed in our training camp. Cale has brought a competitive edge with him to the rink every night. He heightens the intensity on the ice which his teammates feed off.

Nik Caetano was brought over to the Hawks in a trade during the Hawks 2019-20 season. Since then, Nik has done everything he has been asked to do. Nik is a blue-collar lunch pail packing player with a terrific attitude.

Sam Dupuis has been one of the best leaders we have had in our organization of all time. Sam leads by example on and off the ice. For 4 years he has shown great offensive ability and win at all cost defensive play.

The Hawks would like to congratulate the 4 overaged players for successful junior careers and wish them the best in the playoffs and their future hockey careers!
